How to change the gain of iX3M / iDive in case the Wireless Transmitter is not working properly during the dive.

NEW! In case you have an iX3M you can set the GAIN of the Wireless Transmitter during the dive. First update your iX3M using the Ratio ToolBox (OS 4.0.77 / 4.1.30 or above are required) than watch this Video tutorial (link)

Attention
Do not change the gain of the iX3M / iDive if the Wireless Transmitter is working properly.

The default gain of the iX3M / iDive works with most of the scuba diving configuration, environment, and body dimension. But in some cases, you need to change the gain of the iX3M / iDive to let it work properly with the Wireless Transmitter.


To change the gain of the iX3M / iDive follow these steps:

> Connect the iX3M / iDive to the Ratio ToolBox (N.B. not to the DiveLogger) and update your Wireless Transmitter and your iX3M / iDive to the latest OS version available. Ratio ToolBox for Windows, Mac, or Linux is available here.

> Click the "Radio" tab, set the gain of the dive computer and click "save".

> Set the gain on +2 and go diving.
- In case gain +2 does not solve the issue set gain -2 and go diving.
- Go on trying different gain settings (+1, -1, +2, -2, +3, -3, +4, -4, +5, -5, +6, -6) until you find the optimal gain setting for your scuba configuration)
