If you notice that the autonomy of your iDive is no more the one you expected make sure to
follow step-by-step
this tutorial.

How correctly recharge the iDive.

> Plug the USB cable to a wall charger.
(e.g. the wall charger of your smartphone or tablet).

ATTENTION! Most PC and Mac with an advanced power management could stop the electric supply of the USB ports after a while.

The advanced power management of the PC and Mac may disturb the power management of the iDive (the battery of the iDive may appear to be completely charged, even if it is not).

The same power management system is used by some PowerBank system.
DO NOT use your PC or Mac or PowerBank(if not RATIO ®certified) to recharge your iDive.
Use wall chargers only to recharge your iDive.

> Check that the o-ring of the USB cable is on its place (see picture)
(The iDive will not be able to recharge properly if the o-ring is missing).

> Plug the USB cable to the iDive.

Plug the cable connector, make sure that the small protuberance on the cable head (grey in the picture) is placed as shown in the first picture below.

Gently turn the cable head as shown in the second picture below.

> Press one button to start the recharge immediately.

> Make sure that the battery icon is shown.

> Even if the iDive has Li-Ion batteries without memory, we suggest to
recharge the iDive at least for 5 hours.

> According to your iDive setting, when the recharge is completed you will find the iDive screen without the "battery is recharging" icon or with the screen turned off (it means that the "sleep mode" is active).

> Unplug the USB cable.
